General User Guidance for our Reusable Instant Snap Heat Packs.

To Activate:

1. Firmly press and release the “Activation Button”.

2. The solution will crystallize and product heat.

3. Squish the pack back and forth until soft.

4. You may use a dry or moist cloth or your clothing between the heat pack and your skin.

5. Place a wrap over the heat pack to retain the heat.

To Re-Activate (Recharge):

1. Fill a container with enough water that would cover the heat pack(s) and bring to a rolling boil.

2. Reduce heat to medium.

3. Use a vegetable steamer or lay a cloth in the bottom of the pan (or wrapped around the heat pack).

4. Carefully insert heat pack and simmer for 5- 20 minutes (depending on the heat pack size)

    or until pack solution is clear.

5. Turn off heat and leave pack in the water until it cools to room temperature.

6. Remove heat pack and store in liquid state.

I am very happy with my heating pads. I have chronic neck and shoulder pain from a work related injury I suffered 8 years ago that has resulted in permanent scar tissue deep in my upper right trapezius muscle. As a result I have almost constant muscle spasm.

The heat lasts for a good long time and, unlike the Thermacare pads, doesn’t require constant re-exposure to the air to keep the heat going. In addition, they are a much better size so I don’t have to constantly shift the position to reach where the pain is.

These pads are wonderful for me to take to work or even out to family gatherings – anywhere I know I won’t be able to take my med's for extended periods of time.
